WELCOME TO FIT KIDS

FIT KIDS is a fitness and development Centre for children aged 1 to 7 years.

FIT KIDS has two separate age-groupings:

  1.  Play-to-Learn Gym for 1 year to 4½ years with parents and/or caregivers

Strength, flexibility, balance, rhythm, motor skills and muscle tone are all aspects of a child’s development at
FIT KIDS.

Our year round programs integrate fun, fitness and music to develop well rounded children.
FIT KIDS
emphasizes intellectual and social development by building strong listening skills, as well as group co-operation and social interaction.
The building of self-confidence
, competence and self-esteem are keys to success, now and in the future.

CHILDREN AT RISK.

Studies indicate that many of today’s children are overweight, inactive, and fail to meet even minimum standards for strength, flexibility and endurance.

These children are at risk for cardiovascular diseases, suffer from low self-esteem and may experience poor levels of achievement in school. Worse, they are learning a lifestyle that is a prescription for failure in their later years.

WHAT MAKES  FIT KIDS  UNIQUE?

FIT KIDS sessions are age-appropriate.

Your child is placed in a session for 12 months - 2½ year olds, or 2½ -4½+ year olds. Each session is specially designed with activities for the various age/growth levels of children.

As a parent you appreciate how important this is, as mixing of age groups can cause shyness, self-consciousness and frustration in little ones.

As you know, your child’s first 5 years are the critical learning years, so we make sure your children are with their own age group.

Q.: How young should my child start, and why?

A.: As young as possible, because your child’s first five years are critical learning years.

1. Schooling begins at 5, Learning begins at birth.

2. Movement is the key to learning.

3. Music and group activities build listening, learning, and social skills.

4. Physical activities build coordination, strength, balance and endurance.

5. Non-competitive programs let their confidence...... o  a r  !

6. Your child’s development should not be left to chance.

7. The best decision you can ever make for your child.
